Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Punjab is situated inside University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. SPCA is an autonomous body of Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Punjab and working for the welfare of animals.

Objectives

The major objective of SPCA is to keep animals protected from:

  • Thirst and hunger
  • Discomfort
  • Pain, injury, and disease
  • Fear and distress

Mission

The mission of Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is described in the following:

  • To encourage the humane treatment of all animals and to prevent cruelty inflicted upon them
